OSPREYS RETURN TO WALES!

Its started! They’re coming back!! Following the first arrival of the year of an osprey at the Loch of Lowes Scottish nests, on the 25th March 2024 Telyn the osprey returned to her nest at the Dyfi Wildlife Centre, Mid Wales. She’d hatched at Rutland water on 22nd May 2013 and is the off-spring of a long established pair of ospreys (5R(04 ) and an un-ringed female known as Maya. She was first seen on the Dyfi as an intruding osprey in 2017.
