UVO attains charity status

We are very pleased to announce that Usk Valley Ospreys is now a registered charity - registered charity number: 1210832. 

Achieving charitable status demonstrates our long term commitment.  This will ensure ongoing protection for ospreys and their nests in the Usk Valley including the collection of detailed scientific data each year to help with conservation research.  Being a registered charity also brings financial benefits especially with fund raising. 

The regulation and monitoring which applies to all registered charities gives supporters and funders reassurance of the good governance and longevity of the organisation.
